I used I Love This Yarn in Burnt Pumpkin ·          Yarn Needle Abbreviations: ·          K = Knit ·          K2tog = Knit 2 together ·          P = Purl Gauge: 6 rows and 6 stitches = 1 inch Cast on 96 Cuff: 1x2 (knit 1, purl 2) for 2 inches Body of beanie: Knit each st around for one round. *Purl each st around for 1” (6 rounds). I use a dpn) One skein of worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver in Dove in the picture above) Abbreviations: K = Knit P = Purl K2tog = Knit 2 together P2tog = Purl 2 together M1P = Make 1 purl, pick up “bar” between stitches from back to front, purl in front leg of stitch C6B = Slip 3 stitches onto cable needle and hold behind work, knit next 3 stitches, then knit stitches off cable needle. Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn in purple and hot pink (I used Red Heart Super Saver in Amethyst and Shocking Pink} Crochet Hooks in G for Toddler Size or I for Child Yarn Needle Abbreviations: Ch = Chain HDC = Half Double Crochet YO = Yarn Over STS = Stitches SL ST = Slip Stitch SK = Skip The pattern is the same for both sizes, just use the correct hook for the size you're making. Make 2. Chain 23 with the purple yarn. Round 1: Do not join but hdc in first ch made and each remaining ch to form a circle. Change to the hot pink with the last yo of last hdc. Materials: Size 5.5 straight needles Cable needle (or if you don't have those already, you can use a short dpn, chop stick, or anything else that is similar) Caron Simply Soft in Blue Mint (or yarn that is similar) Yarn Needle Abbreviations: Sts = Stitches P = Purl K = Knit Pattern: Cast on 20 sts. Row 1: (Right side) P 7, K6, P7 Row 2: K7, P6, K7 Row 3: Repeat row 1 Row 4: Repeat row 2 Rows 5 & 6: Repeat rows 3 & 4 Row 7: P7, slip next 3 sts onto cable needle (or whatever you're using) and hold at front of your work.
