Hip Hip Crochet

I had no idea when I was making this (originally to be just a cowl) that this could be worn different ways. It's written for adult size but by decreasing the foundation chain, you could make it for a child. (Just make sure you start with an odd number of chains.) Materials: • H hook • Worsted weight yarn in orchid, turquoise, black, pink and carrot • Yarn needle Abbreviations: • ch = chain • hdc = half double crochet • yo = yarn over • dc = double crochet • lc = lace cluster • sk = skip • st = stitch • sp = space Special instructions:  V stitch: double crochet, ch 2, double crochet in indicated stitch. Lace cluster: (yo, insert hook, draw up a loop) 4 times in same st, yo, draw through all 9 loops, ch 1.
