Pull tail of ring to tighten ring. Round 2: 2 hdc in each st around. Sl st to first hdc, fasten off leaving a tail long enough to stitch to hat. Give the circles (eyes) a slight tug to make them ovals. Stitch to hat. For toddler size: Round 1: starting with a magic ring, 8 hdc in ring. Pull tail of ring to tighten.
