Hip Hip Crochet

Materials: Size I Crochet Hook Chunky Yarn (I used Bernat's Softee Chunky in grey heather) 1 medium OR 2 small buttons to match or coordinate Yarn needle Scissors Abbreviations: Ch = Chain HDC = Half Double Crochet Sl St = Slip Stitch Sk = Skip Sp = Space Pattern: Starting with an 8 inch tail, ch 27 (or the length you need to comfortably fit around your wrist, plus 2 and it has been my experience that an odd number works best.) Row 1: HDC in the 3 rd ch from hook, * ch 1, sk 1 ch, hdc in next ch *. Repeat from * to * to end of ch ending with an hdc in the last ch. Ch 2, turn. Row 2: HDC in first ch 1 sp, *ch 1, hdc in next ch 1 sp *. Repeat from * to *, ending with hdc in ch 2 from previous row. Ch 2, turn.
