Materials: • 1 skein each of worsted weight yarn in the color of your choice (I used Red Heart Super Saver in Petal Pink (color A) and Shocking Pink (color B)) and a small amount of black yarn for sewing on button eyes • Size G hook • 8 half inch black buttons • Yarn needle Abbreviations: • ch = chain • hdc = half double crochet • dc = double crochet • st = stitch • sl st = slip stitch Scarf: With color A Ch 19 Row 1: hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn. Row 2: hdc in each of first 9 sts with color A, pick up color B, carrying color A, and hdc in last 9 sts. Ch 1, turn. Row 3: hdc in first 9 sts with color B, carrying color A. Ch 1, turn. Round 3: Working in flo of sc's from round 1, *sl st, ch 6, sc*. Repeat from * to * around for a total of 13 more petals. Fasten off.
