Hip Hip Crochet

This is written for a size 3-6 months but I've also made them in a 0-3 months using this same pattern and using a D hook. I'm sure larger sizes could be made with larger hooks. Materials: • Size E Crochet Hook • Worsted Weight Yarn Abbreviations: • ch = chain • sc = single crochet • hdc = half double crochet • st = stitch • BLO = back loop only • flo = front loop only • sc dec = single crochet decrease • sl st = slip stitch • hdc dec = half double crochet decrease • dc = double crochet With first color, ch 7. Round 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of the next 4, 5 sc in last ch. Now working on the back side of the chain, sc across. Join in first sc. Ch 2. Round 2: hdc in first st, 2 hdc in next st, hdc in each of the next 3 sts, 2 hdc in each of the next 2 sts, hdc in next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st, hdc in next 6 sts. Join to first hdc. Ch 1.
