  6. They are beautiful! My niece takes her kids skating all the time. They even take the baby with them and go around with her in the stroller. With your pattern, I can create the baby a pair of skates she can wear just like her older brothers and sister! Thank you

  9. Thank you so much for this free pattern. My only issues with them were that you indicated we use a size F hook for a 6-12 month size and comparing the finished sole next to a baby shoe sizing chart, this was a 0-3 month size. I tried going up to a G hook and even that was too small (3-6 month size). Finally I was able to get the 6-12 month size with an H hook. Also, I kept getting lost with my beginning round stitch. Granted, I could have used a stitch marker and this wouldn't have been a problem, however, a stitch count at the end of each row instruction would have been very helpful. I couldn't figure out if I was supposed to do 39 or 40 stitches and the shape was funny because of it. In the end, I had to pull the sole out 4 times to either get the right size or the right stitch count. Another thing that was a little confusing for me was how the pattern was kind of pieced together. I guess I'm just used to making one full piece and then the stuff that adds on but I'm sure it will turn out great!
Thank you again for the free pattern, otherwise I was going to have to pay $5.50... no thanks! I will post a picture when they are completely finished.

  10. Just finished my first roller skate and it turned out amazing! I wouldn't have been able to figure out how to make a pair of roller skates if I hadn't come across your pattern. Thank you so much for your generosity!
