Chunky Cuff Bracelet FREE Crochet Pattern

Materials:
  • Size I Crochet Hook
  • Chunky Yarn (I used Bernat's Softee Chunky in grey heather)
  • 1 medium OR 2 small buttons to match or coordinate
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

Abbreviations:
  • Ch = Chain
  • HDC = Half Double Crochet
  • Sl St = Slip Stitch
  • Sk = Skip
  • Sp = Space

Pattern:

Starting with an 8 inch tail, ch 27 (or the length you need to comfortably fit around your wrist, plus 2 and it has been my experience that an odd number works best.)

Row 1: HDC in the 3rd ch from hook, * ch 1, sk 1 ch, hdc in next ch *. Repeat from * to * to end of ch ending with an hdc in the last ch. Ch 2, turn.

Row 2: HDC in first ch 1 sp, *ch 1, hdc in next ch 1 sp *. Repeat from * to *, ending with hdc in ch 2 from previous row. Ch 2, turn.

Row 3: Repeat row 2, but at the end of the row, do not ch 2 or turn. Sl st down the side, across the “back side” of the foundation ch, up the other side, across the top, then fasten off. Use the tail from the foundation ch and the yarn needle to stitch the buttons on as shown in the picture below. Weave in any tails.
