Chunky Cuff Bracelet FREE Crochet Pattern
Materials:
- Size I Crochet Hook
- Chunky Yarn (I used Bernat's Softee Chunky in grey heather)
- 1 medium OR 2 small buttons to match or coordinate
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Abbreviations:
- Ch = Chain
- HDC = Half Double Crochet
- Sl St = Slip Stitch
- Sk = Skip
- Sp = Space
Pattern:
Starting with an 8 inch tail, ch 27 (or the length you need to
comfortably fit around your wrist, plus 2 and it has been my
experience that an odd number works best.)
Row 1: HDC in the 3rd ch from hook, * ch 1, sk 1
ch, hdc in next ch *. Repeat from * to * to end of ch ending with an
hdc in the last ch. Ch 2, turn.
Row 2: HDC in first ch 1 sp, *ch 1, hdc in next ch 1 sp *.
Repeat from * to *, ending with hdc in ch 2 from previous row. Ch 2,
turn.
Row 3: Repeat row 2, but at the end of the row, do not ch 2 or
turn. Sl st down the side, across the “back side” of the
foundation ch, up the other side, across the top, then fasten off.
Use the tail from the foundation ch and the yarn needle to stitch the
buttons on as shown in the picture below. Weave in any tails.
